Smoking can never be a boon but is a curse; still, I write it as a boon because it saved my life and helped me to go dive deep into my soul habits.
After getting addicted to the habit of Smoking for almost 40 years, Ashit Bhatnagar wrote a book #Smoking - A Curse or A Boon? and quit smoking forever after that. Yes, it became a Boon as it provided him an opportunity to get himself drowned in the Greatest Intoxication of Divine Romance. To live a life, one needs an addiction - be it of Roti, Paisa, Liquor, Smoking, Sex, or Spirituality. It takes a big addiction to quit an addiction, and the Greatest Intoxication is of Divine Romance.
I met with several beautiful girls and befriended them, but always treated them as my sisters. And I loved GF (Gold Flake) in my first encounter with her. I used to say often that I will quit smoking only when I get a new GF (Girl Friend) who can lip lock with me at my Will. Even my wife doesn't do that, as she is driven by her moods. I can lip lock with my GF(Gold Flake) at my Will anytime, anywhere, and moreover I can crush her (Gold Flake) under my feet whenever I want.
But with time, I learnt that Smoking can never be a boon, as it persuades you to be a beggar - we smokers used to beg for a matchstick whenever we got an urge to smoke. Moreover, we often purchase it on credit, and it became a bad habit with time.
Is not it true that to kill one poison you need another big poison? And the same with intoxication. The Greatest Intoxication is of the Divine. If you fall in Divine Romance, the kind of experience you have can not be explained in words.
I am not promoting smoking, but my motive is to help people in conquering their habits.
